optibac probiotics

Both Optibac Probiotics and Microbz liquid probiotics are effective products to boost gut and immune health, but which one is worth the investment. The gut is known as the ‘second brain’, so it makes sense to take care of it, unless you take a daily probiotic food like fresh raw sauerkraut.

However, let’s look at the positives and negatives of both products.

pact coffee subscription

I’ve never been much of a bottled water freak, so I drank decaffeinated coffee from my Pact Coffee subscription for the entirety of my pregnancy, and throughout breastfeeding, to which I am still nursing into my eleventh month.

Most decaffeinated coffees in the supermarkets are dry and tasteless, but the decaffeinated Lor is quite nice. Anyhow, when you buy a Pact Coffee subscription for decaffeinated coffee, there are only a few options, but the coffee is really delicious. We still drink raw milk and it’s unhomogenised too so the cream is separated with the liquid and it makes for a delicious cup of coffee. If you want to find a raw milk farm near you, check out this post.

How to start a Pact Coffee Subscription

  1. Firstly, click through to this page, which will start up your coffee subscription.
  2. Choose ‘wholebean’, ‘ground’ or ‘pods’. Choose ground if you prefer your coffee already ready to percolate, or if you have your own coffee grinder choose wholebean. Click next.
  3. Choose regular or decaf. Regular will offer far more options than decaf, but pregnant and nursing mothers don’t have much option but to drink decaffeinated coffee.
  4. Choose how you brew your coffee. The options provided are V60, chemex, stove top, aeropress, cafetiere, espresso machine, bean to cup or cold brew. I tried both a stove top and cafetiere, and prefer cafetiere for its simplicity. There are a great variety of cafetieres on the market. The stainless steels ones keep coffee hot for up to an hour. Click next.
  5. You’ll be offered a coffee with its price, normally £8.95. I joined when Pact Coffee was a very young company so I still pay only £7.95 per bag. Click next.
  6. Choose how often you want your coffee delivered, between 2 and 60 days. I get a delivery every fortnight and I have enough for a brew everyday, plus an additional coffee if I choose to. Click continue to checkout.
  7. Add your details for sign up, name, email, address, etc.
  8. At the Voucher Code, enter 5OFFPACTCOFFEE and you’ll save £5 off your Pact Coffee subscription. You’ll also find the code on this page.
  9. You’ll normally receive your coffee within 24 hours.

kitchen spray

When you think of a kitchen spray, I’m sure you are thinking of Dettol, Flash, Zoflora, or the myriad of chemical cleaners sold in supermarkets. These are big brands with big money that like to promote their germ killing formulas by magnifying germs, just like the toilet cleaning brands do.

However, do you consider what ingredients are being sprayed onto your surfaces with use of these products, especially the surfaces that you child eats off. Some chemicals are cancer causing. Sure, it might kill 99.9 percent of germs and bacteria, but what else is it leaving behind?

I don’t think most of us consider the myriad of chemicals that surround us daily through pesticides sprayed upon foods, home cleansers, skincare products, air fresheners, haircare products, toothpaste, and pharmaceuticals.

Check out my post on the fabulous Lintro Waterless Aroma Diffuser, if you want to fill your air with pure natural essential oils and ditch the chemical nasties found in commercial air fresheners.

Then there’s been an over use of sanitisers since early 2020, which doesn’t support the skin’s natural protective sebum. Again, fear caused this change in the behaviour of humans. The science was to wash your hands for twenty seconds, if I remember, in order to kill any potential virus upon the hands, but if anyone was going to contract this virus it would have been my husband who simply washes his hands for half a second and dries his hands on his pants. He’s free of the virus, nor did he get any vaccines or boosters. Check out my Medium, fingers on phones post. Hmmm, wonder how many times those mobiles were cleaned?

Home Made Kitchen Spray

If anyone was going to die of germs and bacteria, it would be me since I stopped using chemical kitchen spray cleansers over two decades ago. At first, I used tap water and essential oils of lemon and orange, and I’m still alive. These adverts are a load of bollocks. They use fear mongering to sell their products, which smell bloody awful anyways.

I Discovered Microbz

About ten years ago, I discovered Microbz, a small business that sells microbial products like its Bio Live liquid probiotic. They used to sell only Bio Live Gold or Dark, but now they have a huge selection of probiotic drinks, including immune, sleep, kids, and fitness. The taste might be slightly funky to begin with, as it contains cider vinegar, but it’s a wonderful supplement to keep your gut microbiome healthy, and it contains 15 microbe strains.

Well soon after I began using their liquid probiotics, I also discovered their home cleaning microbes, so I switched to the Microbz surface cleaner. It’s so great to know that when I use this kitchen spray, it is leaving behind beneficial microbes that continue to work to destroy the nasties. That’s what every home needs, beneficial goodies to fight the baddies.

If you are tired of chemical nasties in all of these advertised products, then switch to Microbz products and detox from those chemicals and boost the health of your family and home. Plus, you are also supporting a small company who cares about you in building a healthy human and environment.

If you click on this link, you will get a Microbz discount of 20%. Otherwise, use LUVMICROBZ discount code on any link on this blog post to grab a 20% Microbz discount. You’ll save even more if you subscribe to their Bio Live liquid probiotics.

SYB Baby blanket

Any parent should invest in the SYB baby blanket. What does SYB stand for? Shield Your Body. This genius website makes products that actually work to protect against electromagnetic frequencies that surround us all the time. Think wifi, smart phones, 5G, microwaves, TVs, computers, energy saving bulbs etc. These are all radiation.

We received our radiation protecting blanket for Grace this afternoon and what a difference. I am practicing laid down breastfeeding, so it’s quite relaxing for me, and I placed the SYB baby blanket over the duvet cover, and she got into a really deep feed, enough so that I could put her to sleep straightaway. This was a miracle, as Grace is in a sleep regression. It’s been ongoing for six weeks thus far. It’s been difficult for me because I have barely been able to relax, then when I get to sleep she wakes up again for a feed, and I’m cranky most days with fatigue. No kidding, this blanket must have been working on me too, because I actually fell asleep very soon after.

Obviously I’m awake again now as Grace has since woken up four times, and I can’t get back to sleep for my need to write about the importance of radiation protection for babies through items like this radiation protecting blanket.

SYB Baby blanket

  • Made with SaferBody™ Silver 18.
  • Laboratory tested for 5G, up to 26 GHz, to Shield Your Body from up to 99% of harmful EMF radiation.
  • Machine washable and dryable.
  • Comes in multiple stylish colors.
  • Luxurious hypo-allergenic flannel, with non-toxic dye.
  • This is the largest EMF baby blanket available: each blanket is 40″ x 32″ (~102 x 81cm).

Invest in the SYB baby blanket. It’s also sold on Amazon, but you will get a better deal buying the pink (for girlies) direct from Shield Your Body.

aroma diffuser

I’m in love with the Lintro waterless aroma diffuser. You can use either a 5ml or 10ml bottle of pure aromatherapy essential oils and you’ll get a mist every 90 seconds or so. It’s great for the home in places like your living room, is super for the bathroom if you don’t want to rely on nasty chemical air fresheners, and I have also bought one for the car. This waterless aroma diffuser also makes a great gift for your friends or loved ones who love aromatherapy.

What type of Scents to use in the Aroma Diffuser

I’m a fruity girl, so I have lime essential oil diffusing in the living room, peppermint essential oil diffusing in the bathroom, and sweet orange diffusing as my car air freshener.

If you have it on the first bottom setting, and continue to press it on throughout the day (as it turns off automatically after three hours) one charge of the Lintro aroma diffuser will last five to seven days.

Although I did like the water aroma diffusers, I am quite lazy when it comes to cleaning them, so when I found out that there was waterless aroma diffusers, I had to get one, or three :).

The price of the Lintro Waterless Diffuser

Usually £49.99, there is currently a sale on at Lintro where you can save £10. Grab yourself one (or more) of these aroma diffusers for pure essential oil scents throughout the home. With hundreds of aromatherapy essential oils to choose from, or even aromatherapy blends, I guarantee that you will never go back to the water aroma diffusers. And remember, this aroma diffuser switches off automatically after three hours, which is a bonus if you forget to switch or blow things out, as I did when I was burning candles. I much prefer this diffuser to even soy wax candle melts now.

raw milk in rochdale

Have you been searching for raw milk in Rochdale? As a first taste tester of raw milk, I am very impressed by its taste and texture. Look past what the dairy industry tells you about the dangers of raw milk, because all they care about is making money, demonising the raw milk industry, and giving you an unbeneficial dead product to put in your tea and coffee each day.

I’m tired of the constant lies by the healthcare industry and the media. I’m new to raw milk, but I’m not afraid by their spread of fear of e-coli or listeria, being ignorant of doing their own research and listening to one narrative, just like the covid scam has been delivered to the masses. If you just read up on raw milk then the benefits far outweigh any risks. If you really care about the health of you and your family, then it’s important to conduct your own research. Truth is available, but you might not find much on google. Too many people trust the mainstream health professionals, and big pharma, and they don’t give a tiddly winks about improving your immune system and health. Drugs make money. Sick people equals big bucks for big pharma.

Cliftons dairy near Preston delivers raw milk in Rochdale every Tuesday. Their ghee is lovely too, although expensive. It smells like caramel, just like fresh ghee should. Ghee is one of the healthiest foods to fry with and withholds very high temperatures without it oxidising to cause free radical damage inside the body.

Here is some further information of the benefits of raw milk, and if you are not based in Rochdale, but another area in the UK, you can find a raw milk supplier in your area.

electric scooter klarna

Do you see the common pink K everywhere on websites, as I do? It stands for the Klarna buy now pay later option. You can buy everything from an electric scooter Klarna to sports supplements through Klarna, and even through the natural handmade product giant, LUSH. I am not sure how many merchants you can buy through on Klarna, but I guess it’s into the few hundreds now. Clearpay is a similar option that is buy now pay later, but each payment is weekly. Even websites like Everything 5 pounds offer Clearpay but no Klarna payment options.

Klarna or a Credit Card

Klarna is a buy now pay now payment option that is available on most websites, even sites like Booking.com. You want luxury chocolates, you can buy now pay 30 days later on Hotel Chocolat. You want an electric scooter, you can buy now and pay in 30 days on the Klarna Card, or there are options to pay in three. A small credit check is done when you apply for Klarna, but it’s a fairly easy process and most people will be eligible for this convenient payment system.

Klarna differs from a credit card, which normally never offers any incentives other than the excellent American Express Platinum Cashback Everyday credit card, which offered 5% cashback on every purchase for the first three months, although I’m not sure if this offer is still available. It’s still a cashback card offer 0.5% and up to 1% cashback, dependent on how much you spend per annum.

When you Klarna payment date for payment is approaching, Klarna even offers you the option to have a few extra days. This is a handy tool that credit card companies do not provide. Late payments on credit cards often incur late payment fees of £12 and upwards.

An Electric Scooter Klarna through Instalments

The more I see these electric scooters on our streets, the more I wonder if it’s worth it to buy one.

Even though the electric scooter Klarna has many options, it’s important for people to know of their current legality on roads and pavements. Here is information from Halfords. I looked into it as a possible and cheap way to ride to my allotment, until I discovered that they require tax and insurance. This makes them suitable for private land, but illegal to ride on the pavement and roads. Strangely, tax and insurance is required on them, but there are no insurers who will provide electric scooter insurance, so all of these riders are riding illegally and could be fined.

However, I see things changing soon with the way things are petrol wise, with the government going to have to go easy on people who need to travel, and an electric scooter is a cheaper and ‘greener’ option for most people who can no longer afford a car, or cannot afford an electric or hybrid vehicle, so they need to go easy on people with all of these tax laws.

Some Electric Scooter Options Available on Klarna

If this information has not put you off, there are 25 retailers available through Klarna who sell electric scooters ranging from £240 into the thousands. Here’s where you can get one and pay in instalments through Klarna. Click onto this link to consider each of them.

Not sure about you, but I love hand made soap. I have never tried making soap myself, but I have found a wonderful soap maker on eBay, which I want to share with you. We are living in a time when we can help one another immensely by just promotion and good reviews.

It has been about twenty years since I stopped using shop bought shampoos, conditioners, skin creams, fluoridated toothpaste, antiperspirants, and instead started using plain old soap, while also making my own deodorant from shea butter, coconut oil, bicarbonate of soda, and orange essential oil, and bicarbonate of soda for cleaning teeth.  I was using Ghanian black soap for a while from Akoma Skincare, which I would highly recommend, but this soap, although luxurious and a wonderful shampoo bar, is soft and will not last long. You can buy Akoma Skincare Ghanian black soap in bulk for about £12, plus shipping. I am also a sucker for natural deodorants and have tried many in my time. Read my review of The Natural Deodorant Co, Lemon & Geranium.

This hand made soap maker, who I have been buying from for about two years now, and purchased soap gifts for others too, makes a lovely shea butter soap that is wonderful to use as a shampoo. It lathers very quickly and leaves the hair squeaky clean.

Some hand made soap can cost over £5 PER bar. Soap will not go off, and you can wrap it in fancy paper and gift it to others to encourage them to stop using chemical products. Here you can get 13 bars of soap for £13.50 plus postage and packaging. These bars of soap will last you months and can be used to clean the face, hair, and body. Also, they smell lovely too, as another batch of soaps that I recently purchased were far too perfumed and I had to give them to the charity shop. I am sticking with the hand made soap maker that I love.

I highly recommend these soaps. Treat yourself, or buy in bulk and gift to your friends and family. When a shampoo bar by LUSH can cost over £8, you can get all of the above for just £13. This soap maker also makes off cuts (wonky ends) of soaps in bulk, also at a great price.
